Assessing the ten indicators of mental health

The ability to adapt to the environment.

The ability to adapt to changes in the living environment. Emotional stability, not affected by weather or geographic conditions, and rarely affected by changes in interpersonal relationships.

Mental strength.

The ability to calmly search for causes and resist mental stress is not strong, which is a high level of mental health.

Psychological tolerance.

Some mental stress does not come suddenly and go quickly, they linger and exist for a long time with people's work and life. People who can face this situation openly have better psychological tolerance.

Mental self-control.

People have self-control over their emotions, feelings and thinking activities, their words and actions, but this ability has individual differences. A relatively healthy psychological people, self-control is stronger.


Self-confidence is the core pillar of mental health. When a person is faced with life events and work tasks, he or she should first estimate his or her ability and think about whether he or she has enough ability to cope with objective requirements. True self-confidence depends on the correct evaluation of one's own abilities.

The rhythm of mental activity.

Human mental activity has its own rhythm. The wake-sleep cycle is a rhythmical expression of consciousness. If this cycle is disrupted, insomnia will occur.

The level of consciousness.

Appropriate conscious activity is a sensitive indicator of mental health.

Social interaction.

Normal social interactions are interpersonal interactions that are in line with human feelings and reasoning, which can enhance people's interest in life, improve social adaptability, and obtain social support in time when life events occur. Therefore, social interaction can be an indicator of mental health and a way to improve mental health.

The quality of thinking.

The quality of thinking is marked by its realistic and logical nature. Poor quality of thinking is mostly vague and anti-logical. If a person's thinking activities are not realistic and illogical, he or she is bound to encounter obstacles in real life, which will cause various unpleasant emotions and affect physical and mental health.

The ability to recover from psychological trauma.

Psychologically healthy people can recover quickly after suffering mental trauma without serious sequelae.
